Darden Defense and Protection (DDP), established in 2019, was created to educate and arm the community. Our dedication lies in offering well-executed courses from shooting lessons to wear and carry training as well as discipline-building and fundamentals of citizens’ protection rights. We ensure safety in procuring concealed carry licenses in the D.C., Maryland and Virginia (DMV) area for our clients. Darden Defense and Protection believes in safety and is committed to providing services that improve your overall shooting capabilities, knowledge and handgun confidence.
Meet the Owner
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and Delaware, Sid Darden practices community-building through protective practices. He is an M.S. candidate with a concentration in Homeland Security. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from Howard University in Philosophy, Sid dedicated his skillset in weaponry use and value in defense to ensure that members of his community have the capability to safeguard themselves. Sid is a certified gun instructor through the National Rifle Association (NRA) and the United States Concealed Carry Association (USCCA), as well as multiple jurisdictions. Prior to the creation of DDP, he played football at Howard and recently commissioned as a 2d. Lieutenant through Howard's Air Force ROTC detachment. When life gets tough, Sid’s motto is to always, “Go Harder”.
Refund Policy
We are extremely grateful for the love and support that the community has shown us over the years. Because of this, we will always try to provide the best service possible. If our service did not meet our standard of excellence and the instructor failed to provide adequate training or knowledge, we will offer a full refund. For any other instances of dissatisfaction, including but not limited to: loud noises on the range, fear of firearms, friends that do not show up, etc., there will not be any payment refunded.
